  • Treasure and Leisure Experience Log Discovered in Nanshan, Shenzhen

I chose Jingju Hotel Shenzhen specifically for my one week stay at Nanshan, Shenzhen for office work. Originally, I only wanted it to be close to the technology park for commuting, but I didn't expect it to be completely surrounded by the hotel's hidden recreational facilities. I don't have to go to the gym after work every day, and I can completely relieve my fatigue in the hotel.
When checking in, the front desk took the initiative to introduce me to the hotel's recreational facilities, saying that guests could use all facilities for free. They also kindly gave me a guide card for the recreational area, indicating the opening hours of each area. The room I live in is located in the adjacent unit on the same floor of the leisure area. It's just a two step walk downstairs, so there's no need to take long detours. After changing into sportswear, you can start exercising in just a few minutes.
The first thing to check in was the hotel's 24-hour smart gym. Pushing open the glass door, you were amazed to see that there was no crowding or odor like traditional gyms. The floor was covered with thick anti slip rubber mats, and the air was filled with a faint lemon fragrance. The equipment is all new models from top tier brands, ranging from treadmills and elliptical machines to adjustable weight dumbbell sets, and even professional high-altitude pull-down trainers, fully meeting the needs of daily strength training. The details of the gym are particularly thoughtful, with USB charging ports and phone stands reserved next to each treadmill. When tired from running, you can watch TV shows anytime to relieve boredom. The constant temperature drinking machine in the corner can receive warm water at any time, and there are also free disinfectant wipes and sweat wipes provided nearby. After practicing, you can easily clean the equipment. I came to the gym for five kilometers after three days of work. There were not many people in the gym, so I didn't have to wait for equipment. I sweated at the Nanshan city view outside the landing window, and the pressure of the day's work drained out with the sweat.
Next to the gym is a constant temperature infinity pool, with clear water that allows you to see the blue tiles at the bottom of the pool. The water temperature remains stable at around 28 degrees Celsius all year round, and you won't feel cold when you go into the pool on early summer evenings. The depth design of the swimming pool is very friendly, with a shallow water area of 1.2 meters and a deep water area of 1.6 meters, even beginners can swim with confidence. The lounge chair by the pool is equipped with free lemon water and dry towels. After swimming, you can lie on it and enjoy the evening breeze. Looking up, you can see the distant Nanshan skyline, and even the sound of traffic in your ears becomes very light. The matching shower room of the swimming pool is particularly clean, with hot water coming out in three seconds. It also comes with free shower gel and conditioner. After swimming, taking a hot shower completely eliminates the soreness all over the body.
What surprised me most was the Zen Yoga Room hidden in the deep of the recreation area. The floor window was full of tortoise shell bamboos and sunflowers. The sun came in through the shutter, and the atmosphere was full. The hotel offers free public yoga classes every evening at 7 pm, taught by experienced local yoga instructors who adjust the intensity of the movements according to the guest's condition. Even as a stiff office worker like me, I can complete a complete set of soothing exercises with them. The yoga studio provides free yoga mats, elastic bands, and futons, so you don't have to carry the equipment yourself. After class, your shoulders and neck are stretched out, and even your old problem of insomnia has improved a lot.
After staying for a week, I was able to find a way to relax in the hotel's recreational area every day after work, without having to search for nearby gyms and swimming pools, saving a lot of commuting time. Compared to many hotels that only provide basic accommodation, Jingju Hotel Shenzhen has turned recreational facilities into exclusive charging stations for guests. This kind of accommodation experience that can completely relax the body is the most rare small fortune in Shenzhen. Next time I come to Nanshan for long-term residency, I will definitely choose this place again.Show more

  • A quiet little nest in the bustling city of Nanshan

I came to Nanshan, Shenzhen this time to handle the final work of the project. I didn't want to stay in a crowded express hotel around the science and technology park. After comparing for a long time, I chose Jingju Hotel Shenzhen. After staying there, I realized that this boutique hotel hidden in the core area of Nanshan perfectly captures the relaxation of Shenzhen's fast-paced environment and has become the most comfortable place for me to end my deep drifting trip.
Just walk over 600 meters from Nanshan Station on Line 11, passing by several Chaoshan noodle shops that have been open for many years, full of fireworks. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, the front desk staff greeted me with a smile. They saw me holding thick project drawings in my hand and took the initiative to help me share the burden. They also kindly handed me a refreshing glass of osmanthus oolong and said that the weather in Shenzhen has been hot recently, so I need to relieve the heat before checking in. At the moment of pushing open the hotel door, the noisy traffic on Nanshan Avenue outside was immediately separated behind, and a faint aroma wafted through the warm space of light wood color. The exhaustion of the journey was instantly dissipated.
I booked a city view king size bed room, and the moment I opened the door, I was immediately struck by the details. There was no traditional hotel's usual icy feeling, the walls were soft milky white, and a small pot of fresh green ivy was placed by the window. Even the desk lamp was an adjustable angle warm light style. The 1.8-meter large bed is covered with high count cotton bedding, and there is no slippery feeling like a cheap hotel when lying down. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and after a busy day's work, it can relieve the soreness all over the body in a short while. The spacious desk by the window is just enough to hold my dual screen computer, and the high-speed Wi Fi is stable throughout the entire process without dropping. Even after a few hours of online review, there will be no lag, completely avoiding the frustrating situation of other hotel Wi Fi being stuck and causing people to worry.
The most surprising thing was the homely atmosphere in the hotel. The next morning, I went to have a buffet breakfast, which included Chaoshan soup powder, Cantonese style steamed snacks, freshly ground coffee, and freshly cooked pig offal soup powder. Even I, a Chaoshan person who is very picky about breakfast, ate two bowls in a row. Working overtime until late at night, when I went downstairs, the front desk even brought me a bowl of warm silver ear lotus seed soup, which was said to be a small benefit prepared by the hotel for late returning guests, making me feel sweet in my heart. In my spare time, I sit in the shared book bar on the first floor of the hotel and flip through books. The coffee machine next to me can always dispense free freshly ground coffee, so I don't have to go out to find internet famous cafes to spend a peaceful and relaxing time.
Living here for a few days, you don't have to worry about traveling at all. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the core business district of Nanshan. If you want to have a cup of milk tea or a late night snack after working late at night, you can go downstairs and take a turn to buy one. Drive for fifteen minutes directly to Shenzhen Bay Park. After work, take a walk by the seaside and enjoy the evening breeze, without having to rush to the subway. Before leaving, I accidentally left my USB flash drive in the bookstore. After checking out, I realized that I was trying it out and called the front desk. That afternoon, I received a package sent back by the hotel, without even covering the shipping cost.
Throughout the entire stay, there were no flashy internet celebrity gimmicks, but the convenience of the Nanshan core area and the relaxation of home were perfectly integrated. Compared to the efficiency oriented accommodations around the technology park, the comfort and quietness of Jingju Hotel Shenzhen have allowed me to find a place to completely unwind from the fast-paced work in Shenzhen. Next time I come to Nanshan to handle the project, I will definitely choose this place directly.Show more
